Common questions.
Will it work in my basement?
It is designed for basements and other indoor spaces up to 4,500 sq ft. Temperature, moisture levels and room layout affect performance. A closed-off room or separate floor may need its own placement.
Do I need to empty the tank every day?
Emptying frequency depends on how much moisture the unit collects. The 6.5 L tank shuts the unit off when full. If you have a suitable drain nearby, connect the included hose for continuous drainage.
Why does daily water collection vary?
The daily removal figure is measured under test conditions. Cooler or less humid rooms usually produce less collected water, and collection can fall as the room becomes drier. Check the room humidity as well as the tank level.
Can I choose the humidity level?
Yes. In DEHU mode, you can set a target between 30% and 80% RH. The DRY and CONT modes are intended for different operating needs and do not offer the same target adjustment.

It works so well! I went from 97% humidity to below 50 after a catastrophic water line break. My windows, walls and doors were dripping with condensation. This thing worked so well. It has a drain tube to allow constant draining in these situations which was fantastic. It was well worth the money.

I picked up this KeepGlad dehumidifier because I was fed up with having to recaulk my shower over and over again from the constant moisture buildup. I just started using this today. Instructions weren't very clear on how to turn the unit on. They didn't identify the air intake cover on the top of the unit in order to get it to turn on. If the cover isn't open the machine won't turn on. Finally went to you tube and found a video demonstrating. Now I'm happy so far.
